It is always nerve-racking coming into a new company and trying to break the ice. Ensuring that new employees feel comfortable is crucial to building a positive transition within a company. We thought it would be fun to ask Joshua a few questions to get to know him a little better.

 

Q: What is your official work title?

A: Software Engineer

 

Q: Can you tell us more about your professional experience/history?

A: I recently graduated from Stony Brook University as a Computer Science major and I am looking forward to working with everyone in this company! My favorite programming languages are Python, Java, and JavaScript.

 

Q: What do you like to do outside of work?

A: I enjoy playing games, sports, hanging out with friends, and finding great spots to eat. Also when I can, I like building computers and keyboards.

 

Q: What is your greatest travel experience?

A: My greatest travel experience was going out to the Philippines and visiting my family after a long time. I really enjoyed seeing the sights and catching up with the lives of those I know. For my next great travel experience, I want to go to Japan!

 

Q: Favorite movie?

A: It has got to be Avengers: Infinity War. That movies was such an emotional rollercoaster that it kept me on my toes throughout the whole movie.

 

Q: Guilty pleasure music artist?

A: I love listening to Keshi, especially when I just want to sit down and unwind.

 

Q: What is something that inspires you?

A: Anyone who started off with very little but still accomplished their goals and became what they wanted to be is a huge inspiration to me.

 

Q: What would you say your professional goal would be now that you are employed at Percipia?

A: I want to learn more technology and software to not only grow as a software developer but to also contribute more to Percipia.
