Welcome to Percipia's new employee spotlight series! We're excited to introduce our latest team member, Maj, and give you all a chance to get to know him a little better. Maj recently joined our team and we wanted to give him the opportunity to share a bit about himself, his background, and what he's most looking forward to in his new role. So, without further ado, let's dive in and get to know Maj!
Q: What is your official work title?
A: Software Engineer
Q: Can you tell us more about your professional experience/history?
A: After graduating from university in 2021, I got the opportunity to work on a large software project from concept to completion. I am looking forward to continuing my career and the skills that new challenges will bring.
Q: What do you like to do outside of work?
A: I like to fix, modify, or otherwise tinker with electronics and mechanical things like cars, watches, etc. I also like going to concerts, biking, skiing, relaxing at the beach, and eating at cool restaurants.
Q: What is your greatest travel experience?
A: I took a trip to the western US a few years ago. We started in California and had a big road trip that took us to San Francisco, Sacramento, Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, Las Vegas, Yellowstone National Park, Salt Lake City, Moab, and many other destinations. It was a fantastic experience and showed me what a road trip is all about.

A: I listen to a wide range of music from various genres, but mostly trend toward alternative rock. As for my guilty pleasure artist/group, it would have to be The Police.

A: I get my inspiration from music, scenery, visiting different environments, and experiencing new things.

Q: What would you say your professional goal would be now that you are employed at Percipia?
A: I hope to become knowledgeable in the solutions that Percipia provides, provide a great experience for customers through my software, learn many new technologies, and meet new people along the way. I am excited to learn more about how the hospitality industry provides great service from a technology standpoint.
