Welcome to Percipia's New Employee Spotlight Series! We're excited to introduce our latest team member, Dylan, and give you all a chance to get to know him a little better. Dylan recently joined our team and we wanted to give him the opportunity to share a bit about himself, his background, and what he's most looking forward to in his new role. So, without further ado, let's dive in and get to know Dylan!
Q: What is your official work title?
A: System Support Specialist
Q: Can you tell us more about your professional experience/history?
A: In the past, my experience has mainly been centered around web development, customer service, and project management. Most recently I have been working on developing full-stack web applications for professional and personal projects.
Q: What do you like to do outside of work?
A: I’m a musician first and foremost, so a lot of my time goes into writing and recording music! I like to produce and engineer recordings as well. I also enjoy working on repairing and designing analog electronics for audio in my spare time.
Q: What is your greatest travel experience?
A: My favorite experience travelling was going on a solo trip to the desert in Morocco, it was a life changing experience and I hope to go back one day!

Q: What is something that inspires you?
A: My neighborhood! Bridgeport in Chicago, it's filled with very unique and uplifting people young and old.

Q: What would you say your professional goal would be now that you are employed at Percipia?
A: To become an expert in Linux and to learn the Go programming language so I could learn more about the development of our products!
