Percipia is excited to announce the return of Kal Matar! We are happy to have him working with Percipia's team in the Chicago office. We thought it would be fun to ask Kal a few questions to re-introduce him to the team.
Q: What is your official work title?
A: Business and Communications Manager
Q: Can you tell us more about your professional experience/history?
A: I actually use to work for Percipia as Business and Account Manager and before that an Office and Social Media Associate. I stepped away at the end of last year to move to Michigan for my spouse’s career. I had the opportunity to move back to Chicago and take on a new leadership role. I am excited to reconnect with my amazing team and clients!
Q: What do you like to do outside of work?
A: I love entertaining family. So, hosting mini family get-togethers has been my thing for the past few years. Also, I have been getting into working out; I hope I can stick with it this time.
Q: What is your greatest travel experience?
A: I have always wanted to go to Colorado and had the opportunity to go last year. It was my best experience because I drove up the Rocky Mountains with no guard in a Benz C-Class. I was driving three mph for 8/9 miles; it took forever. I was completely unprepared and totally terrified. It made for a fantastic trip.
Q: Favorite movie?
A: Gah, I am a Marvel Studios fanatic. I never got into the comics, but I love the movies.
Q: Guilty pleasure music artist?
A: All of my music is a guilty pleasure. I listen to 100% terrible music and can’t stop. And won’t stop.
Q: What is something that inspires you?
A: Being challenged. I love not knowing something and being forced by my curiosity to learn it.
Q: What would you say your professional goal would be now that you are employed at Percipia?
A: I have had this goal for a while. I hope to move into a director’s position and oversee all of Business, Admin, and Marketing. I am extremely passionate about Percipia and plan to see my goal through.
