It's shaping up to be a great year for tourists across the globe as a handful of new attractions are set to open. Here's the top 4 places you need visit this year.

1. Dubai Parks and Resorts, United Arab Emirates

Opening in October, Dubai Parks and Resorts will feature several themed zones, from Legos to Bollywood flicks and Hollywood blockbusters. If you're looking to escape the heat, the park will have a waterpark too. But don't worry if you plan to stay dry. The film-themed attractions will be air conditioned.

2. Shanghai Disneyland, Shanghai, China

Disneyland is headed to China! The upcoming theme park is expected to open sometime this year. It will feature Enchanted Storybook Castle, the largest and tallest Disney castle, as well as an 11-acre collection of gardens called the Gardens of Imagination. Other attractions include Treasure Cove--a Pirates of the Caribbean-themed harbor town, Adventure Isle--the counter-part to Adventureland, and Tomorrowland--which will feature a futuristic Buzz Lightyear-themed adventure.

3. Louvre Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

This new Louvre location is set to open later this year. It's been in development for almost ten years. The museum is said to feature a mix of Western and Eastern artwork. The building itself is quite a piece of art too.

4. Ark Encounter, Kentucky, USA

Experience a life-sized Noah's Ark! Opening July 7, Ark Encounter features a number of Biblical events in 510-foot-long wooden arc! Learn more about the story of Noah, how he and his family built the arc and about all the animals brought to fit inside of it.
