It is always nerve-racking coming into a new company and trying to break the ice. Ensuring that new employees feel comfortable is crucial to building a positive transition within a company. We thought it would be fun to ask Frances a few questions to get to know her a little better.
Q: What is your official work title?
A: Business Office Manager
Q: Can you tell us more about your professional experience/history?
A: I graduated from the University of Puerto Rico with a BA in Hotel & Restaurant Administration and later received my MS in Hospitality Management from Florida International University. My very first job was in Housekeeping at The Ritz-Carlton back home in Puerto Rico. From there I continued growing my career for over 15 years, working in different brands (from luxury and full service to select service and extended stay) with Hyatt and Marriott.
Q: What do you like to do outside of work?
A: I own a small coffee shop in the Uptown neighborhood and I am usually there chatting with neighbors or trying new drink recipes. I also enjoy concerts and watching documentaries.
Q: What is your greatest travel experience?
A: I would have to say Iceland. I learned so much about their history and got to see so many beautiful sites!

A: Amelie
Q: Guilty pleasure music artist?
A: One Direction
Q: What is something that inspires you?
A: The support my family has always given me! I pushes me to move forward.
Q: What would you say your professional goal would be now that you are employed at Percipia?
